Tired
I've had a long day I guess. It's one of those moments where you want toothpicks to keep your eyes open.
Seems as my medication for my Thyroid is working better, I'm down 2 pounds again. Encouraging to see the weight come off. I can see the bone structure in my face better, it's not just 'fluffy'.
Went through William Gibson's blog today. Interesting man. Odd though. He's the guy who coined the term "cyberspace". Funny that it takes only one person to describe the lifestyle of people all over the world. Sometimes, I wish I knew if he had thought up virtual worlds too. That's the ultimate cyberspace experience. Talking to someone half way around the world...
Being a resident in cyberspace, you really don't notice much of the world around you that is outside and away from the computer. It's always "when's that next event". You always want to be a part of the "next event". You can buy a new car in the real world and still love driving whatever conveyance that the virtual world supplies better.
You could go for a jog, but your avatar just runs everywhere anyways.
I'm tired. But aren't some moments of exhaustion the birthplace of some of the most brilliant of ideas?
I dunno...
I woke up early this morning, I cooked dinner. I was more awake burning the first batch of chicken spaghetti I was making than going on 100 raids in WoW. Still burnt dinner though. Had to throw it out. The smell of burnt mushrooms, garlic and onions is disgusting. Lucky for me, there was more butter, onions, garlic and mushrooms in the house. Glad I didn't get too far. I was concentrating on cutting up the chicken and listening to Iron Man rather than watching what I was doing.
But I was awake.
More than I can say for myself now. Long day. Unusually busy. I'm always so bored.
Pass from one world to another. From cyberspace, to burning fingers on the pots and pans, back to cyberspace. More nicotine. More caffeine. Empty house, empty head...
