Maliciousness and Drama
It's been about a month since I've last posted. I guess you can say that I have been busy. My husband (the angel that he is) finished moving all of the boxes that I couldn't carry (and in most of them I had no idea what the heck some of the contents were, I'm just glad they're out of the way), and now my office is a dream! My parents kindly donated a bed to our office/guestroom and now it is really fantastic.
The rest of the house is fantastic! Just one more trip to Goodwill and everything will be squared away! YAY!
My virtual mom came and stayed with me for a week...we had a grand time. I took her to Zumanity and we saw "Monsieur Phallus" and Izzy...one phrase makes my Virtual Mom crack up...SCOTCH BAGGIES. Ok if you don't get it, go see Zumanity and cheer your head off.
All around the time that I was getting things fixed up here at the house and my virtual mom came to visit...what do you think happened? Drama ensued. But this time it landed itself right on my front doorstep. I'm not going to go into details, but let's just put it this way, Malicious people X nothing better to do = drama and malicious acts against people who do nothing but good things.
Why is it that people, in absence of anything else better to do, have to destroy things that have absolutely nothing to do with them??
I'd really like to know...I'm honestly trying to figure it out. Here is my list of possible reasons for things of that nature.
1. Jealousy. They can't control it, they aren't glorified by it, so since they can't be in the limelight of it, they would rather destroy it.
2. Lack of Sanity. Let's face it, some people are just psycho. No negotiations, no discussion...they're just plain out of their head so they attack the first thing they come across.
3. Lack of common sense. Rather than take part in things that glorify everyone...they would rather cut their nose off despite their face simply to justify their anger at the world, showing absolutely no common sense in their actions. Simply, why in hell would you want to piss off a pit bull when it was friendly or indifferent to you in the first place? To me that is a pure lack of common sense.
4. They just don't "Get it". Now this one I've seen more often than I'd like. There are some people in this world that lack vision or the ability to cooperate. If something good is offered to you, it would make good sense to take advantage of the situation. It's called putting your personal bias on side and just getting things done. They don't "get it" even when it is explained clearly to them what benefits could come from cooperating or just plain being nice. Part of reaching great heights is the ability to accept different points of view and embracing the vision of others. Alas, some people just don't "get it".
5. Outright Stupidity. Now this one...it sits directly on one of my pet peeves. Stupid people piss me off every single time. I've seen more acts of random stupidity than I'd like to see in the entire rest of my existance. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you know who is in power, it is best not to piss them off. "When in the kingdom of a corrupt king, it is better to be the jester than to be the everyman." Now that is some of my homespun wisdom, but it is plain truth. An intelligent person is able to play the political game and stay either neutral or on the winning side. It is unwise to pick a fight with people that you do not know their capabilities or how far their power extends. In the immortal words of Dan Inasanto, "Skills are one thing, but if you don't see the guy with the baseball bat around the next corner, your skills don't mean much." It is better to play smartly and win than to play stupidly and get your head knocked off.
I'm convinced that life is like one big chess game. You strategically move your pieces and pick your fights intelligently rather than unzip your fly and be beaten on the fourth move. You have to be ready to go the distance, but in the case of the drama mongers that I have been encountering in my life...I'd rather be the one handing out the ass beating rather than have my ass beat.
So, as for all the drama...for all the people that started the messes that I'm having to deal with...shame on you.
Shame on you for:
a.) using your ass as a headrest and having an incurable case of cranial rectumitis.
b.) not being sweet.
c.) not acting like you have any good common sense in your head.
d.) picking on people who didn't do anything to you personally in the first place.
e.) not shutting up and finding something better to do.
So, for all the drama mongers aching to start something with me or my family...
I'm all out of "Give a Shit"...go bother someone else.
